This week I worked with a client who wanted a new Spring/Summer wardrobe for 2015. She wanted some key pieces that she could update her wardrobe with and make her look stylish. This pieces included the midi skirt, culottes, a denim dress, a printed jumpsuit, some formal dungarees all in colours that suit her skin tone, hair colour and eye colour. It got me thinking about what new pieces I would like in my wardrobe, so here are this week's pick for inspiration for a new outfit or perhaps a whole new look for 2015!

Yellow, citrus, lemon, buttercup, the list could go on as to what you can name it. But this spring summer season it is set to be the biggest colour of the year, hot from being a slower burner at the end of last Summer. There are some fantastic vibrant shades out there on the high street or designer, but beware, the downside is that yellow doesnt suit every colouring. So proceed with caution by adding the colour to accessories, such as shoes or bags, or if you have the right skin tone, colour block from head to toe! How to wear yellow...
When a new colour trend comes along, it's best to start small, with accessories like shoes, bags or sunglasses. Then you can gradually work your into incorporating citrus separates into your everyday wardrobe- a lemon shirt with your blue jeans. Another great tip is to pair it with black. It looks sophisticated, on-trend and cool when worn with a black skirt, black heels or a black leather jacket to give it an edge.
